Yoshinori Mizutani – The show

mc2gallery is proud to present the first solo show in Italy of the young Japanese photographer Yoshinori Mizutani (1987) in collaboration with IMA Concept Store / IMA Gallery in Tokyo. Mizutani lives and works in Tokyo and has won numerous prestigious awards including the Japan Photo Award in 2013 as well as the Foam Talent Call and Lens Culture Emerging Talents Top 50 in 2014. The exhibition displays a small anthology of his works, divided by theme and fits into the calendar of the week of the Photo Vogue Festival. Some of the artist’s splendid images have bewitched the great Japanese designer Issey Miyake, who used them to make his latest spring / summer collection, of which a short video will be shown Saturday November 26th during the talk with Mariuccia Casadio at BASE Milan, 5pm.
