Museum-paintings displayed inside a wunderkammer – a true small private museum, conceived by a collector to satisfy his personal taste – in a tautological short circuit, more alienating than didactic.
Upon closer inspection, a «catalogue […] that ideally ends in an etcetera», to quote Umberto Eco of Vertigine of the list, to whom the exhibition is a clear homage; an inventory of the uncatalogable, a collection of iconographic listings, which sometimes fades into the blur of unsatisfied desires.
