From January 31 to February 23 mc2gallery hosts the exhibition Some-body to love. A collective show on the theme of love, understood in the truest sense of the term, as the maximum expression of desire through the body. Passionate, lonely, romantic, mercenary.
What is love? The title plays on the double meaning of Some-body, intended both as “someone to love” and “some body to love”.
The exhibition includes both international artists such as Araki, Nadav Kander, Jacob Aue Sobol, Antoine D’Agata, Michael Ackerman, Toni Thorimbert, Eva Stenram, Melissa Steckbauer, Noè Sendas, Benjamin Mouly, and Italian artists such as Vanni Cuoghi, Gianpiero Fanuli, Lady Tarin, Giuliano Sale, Silvia Argiolas, Francesca Galliani, Maurizio Montagna, Francesca Belgioioso, Tiziano Doria and Giacomo Vanetti.
Artists who have portrayed in their works the theme of the body and carnal or sexual love, through photography, collage or painting.
