“KAZUO OHNO:103”

A tribute to the great dance master and performer Butoh, Kazuo Ohno, who died at the age of 103 last June. A collective exhibition with photos of the great masters of Japanese photography including Eikoh Hosoe, already linked to the world of Butoh through the relationship with the founder of Butoh, Tatsumi Hijikata (1928-1986). Hosoe, master of 20th century photography, dedicated to the Japanese master Ohno the splendid opera-book “The Butterfly Dream” presented on the occasion of Ohno’s 100th anniversary in Japan in the presence of the master and his son Yoshito Ohno who carries on the dance tradition Butoh. The exhibition also presents rare video documents of performances and interviews.
